Elle put Cameron in his car seat.

Anthony got into the car.

Elle handed Anthony a bag.

"It's a chocolate muffin and apple juice since you didn't eat breakfast." Elle said.

"Thanks." Anthony muttered, putting his seat belt on.

"Can you smile for me...please." Elle said.

"What's there to smile about? Today is going to suck and before you yell at me about that, he already did." Anthony said. "...ass."

"Good! I wanted you to." Anthony said.

Savannah covered her ears.

"Anthony don't call your dad that." Elle said.

"Well he is one." Anthony said. "And watch me get in trouble because of how poor Savannah is acting now."

"Anthony stop." Elle said.

"No, he acts like just because everything has been okay for a little bit he can control everything." Anthony said.

John glared then strapped Savannah in her seat before he got in the driver's seat and slammed the door shut.

Elle reached back and grabbed it. She put in Monsters vs. Aliens in the DVD player in the car.

"Yay!" Savannah said.
