Courtney chuckled then checked on the chicken before mixing the salad in a bowl. Once she was done with it she put the bowl on the table and put the corn into a pot to cook.

She checked the chicken again then pulled it out of the oven before grabbing two plates.

"Dinner's ready."

Courtney plated the food and set the plates on the table before grabbing two cups from a cabinet.

"What do you want to drink Allie?" Courtney asked.

"Orange juice!" Allie yelled from the bathroom.

Courtney grabbed the orange juice and poured it into Allie's cup before putting water in her own. She then set the cups on the table and went to wash her hands as well.
