Courtney looked at Allie then hugged her.

"I'm sorry about what you're going through but it'll get better one day. With love sometimes it gets worse before it can get better, I went through some pretty crappy relationships before I met your father. There's always someone out there for everyone so don't spend your time on one guy if he's not treating you the way you should be." Courtney said.

Allie sighed as she leaned more into Courtney. "I'm just done with his bull. I had more good times with these douches around here than with him, but he's just that one guy that I care about and I just forgive whenever he hurts me. I shouldn't be going through this right now."

"The hardest thing is to get over your first love but if he's always hurting you and you keep running back how does that solve anything? You have to show him it's not that easy, that you're willing to accept anything he dishes out." Courtney said.

She gently rubbed Allie's back in comfort.

"Just let your father and I meet him first before you decide anything. I want to meet this asshole is before I let him see you again." Courtney said.

"Not really. Besides that, its the same old, same old. Hang out with friends, spend time with family, eat, sleep, and survive the day." Allie said with a shrug as she started to fix the mashed potatoes.
