Moving Out of the Nest (Dia/Sting)

Dia held the locket her father had given her years ago.

He followed her and took a deep breath. It hurt to let her go to grow up.

Dia pulled up into the parking lot of the apartment complex.

He pulled up beside her and saw Rai walking out. "Rai?" "Oh hey guys."

"Hey Rai," Dia said.

"Hey Dia." Rai said with a smile. "Moving in?"

Dia nodded.

"Cool. My older brother Antony just moved in."

"Cool," Dia said.

Rai nodded.

"I'm just glad to have my own place now," Dia said.

Rai smiled. "Here I'll help you move in."


Sting sighed. "Your evil Rai." "Oh well."

"We talked about this dad," Dia said.

"I know." Sting said with a sigh.


Rai grabbed a box.

"Relax a little, please," Dia said.

"Fine." He said as he grabbed a box.


Rai giggled.

"You knew this day would come," Dia said.

He went inside the building.

Rai shook her head with a laugh. "Dave was the same way when I moved out of his place."

Dia sighed.

Rai hugged her with one arm. "It'll be okay. My brother is ex Special forces so he will make sure your safe."

"I'm just worried about dad," Dia said.

"He'll be fine in no time. If anything I'll call him everyday to bug him."

Dia chuckled.

Rai smiled widely.

"Thank god I have you," Dia said.
