She sighed again, taking the pregnancy test out from underneath the magazine and bringing it into view.

"I'm pregnant. Okay. There I said it." Elle said. "I am pregnant again with what I am pretty sure is your child. And honestly, I don't want to think about it because I am still in love with you but at the same time I hate you. There." She blurted out.

John blinked in shock then stared at Elle for a minute.

"...Pregnant?" John asked.

He took a few minutes to think about the idea. He had always wanted another baby especially after Elle miscarried before. John looked at Elle as a smile appeared on his face then hugged her.

"I love you." John said.

She then realized she had said 'I love you' to John when she heard him say it. She pretty much just stood there as John hugged her back. "I...I'm just confused John."

"Us." Elle said. "I know we've been just strictly having sex and we've talked about the idea of having kids but now that it's actually happening...I don't know. I want to be with you, but I just can't...or I don't know...a lot has happened between us."

"I know it has Elle but I really do love you. I love Anthony and I love this new baby. I'm so sick of being without you and not knowing if I'm going to be able to still call you my wife a year from now." John said.

"I'm just hurt, John. That's it. I want to take you back, I want our family back, but I am afraid that all of it's going to fall apart again. And I can't go through that again, nor will I put Anthony or our unborn baby through it." She said.
